Fiber Art Project

I couldn’t be happier on how this art project turned out for my 4th grade art class this past week! We talked about fiber arts, I showed some examples and let them start creating.

The best part of this project was that there was NO GLUE INVOLVED. I had found a tutorial online (I wish I could find the website again to give credit) where someone had used sticky floor tiling and had students just lay the yarn to the back of the tile. For this specific project I did split the 12x12 tiles into 4 pieces to make it less intimidating.
