Birds Eye View

My 3rd grade students reviewed Art in Nature or “Earthworks.” We discussed how people create art in/with nature that you might not be able to necessarily see unless seen from above. Of course some art like landscape design can be appreciated while standing next to or in, but looking at it from above is another art in itself. Their project was to create a garden as if they were seeing it from above. This activity also is a start to landscape design. I love how their projects turned out.
